INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups of fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons of pine nuts
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons of grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of Stefano’s extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION:
- In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and grated parmesan cheese.
- Process the ingredients until they are finely chopped and well combined.
- While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the Stefano’s extra virgin olive oil.
- Continue processing until the mixture reaches a pesto-like texture.
- If desired, you can adjust the consistency by adding a little water to dilute the mixture.
Note: You may use less olive oil if desired, and adjust the texture according to your preference.
