Pan-fried green beans with tomatoes

2 lbs. Italian bush beans (Marconi)
420 mL of Stefano's sauce, tomato basil or arrabbiata
3 tbsp. Stefano's olive oil
3 tbsp. butter
1 onion (chopped)
3 sprigs of parsley (chopped)
Salt and pepper
Remove ends of green beans and wash them.
It is important to keep them in cold water.
In a saucepan, heat oil and butter together.
Add onion and cook until fully caramelized.
Add tomato sauce and simmer for e few minutes.
Finally, add green beans and season whole mixture with salt and pepper.
Simmer the whole mixture with cover until the green beans are tender. About 20 minutes.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over sauce and serve with cavatelli.
