How to use your Emile Henry pizza stone
You can use your pizza stone to prepare and cook your homemade pizzas. Following our advice, you will produce pizzas with a beautiful golden, deliciously crisp crust.
Preheat your stone in a 450 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not add white flour on your stone since it might burn. (the flour)
Using a pizza peel, slide your pizza on the stone with removing it from the oven. You can add some thick corn flour on the pizza peel to make it slide off easier.
When your pizza is ready, remove it using a pizza peel. You can also remove the stone using oven mits.
Place your stone on a neutral surface, like a dishcloth or a wooden board. Avoid placing it in direct contact with anything cold.
The stone is dishwasher safe. However, if some residue is not coming off soak it in hot water and white vinegar.
